Adrian,
  I am one of the phantom members of the Video game Developer Meetup group.
I have not yet been to a meetup, but I certainly plan to do so. I have to
admit I was both surprised and pleased to receive your email--not because I
am a programmer (I am not), but rather because I have had dwindling faith in
the creative community of my home digs here in Cleveland. Just to know that
there is a company here in the area taking a whack at making computer games
gives me hope. I returned from a brief 2 year stint in Seattle, Washington
working in the R&D department of Wizard of the Coast. At work, and
everywhere in the city, modern, forward-looking work was being done in all
manner of tech/entertainment fields. It is nice to know that there is a
little oasis of the future right here in the city of dusty yesterday.

  Just to clarify, I am not looking for a job. I am happily clipping along
as a freelance illustrator, designer, and writer.  If your creative folks;
concept artists, painters, worldbuilders, etc., ever need a little boost
from the outside, please do not hesitate to rope in a hometown boy. I've
attached a couple jpegs just so you know where I am coming from.

  perhaps I'll see you soon at one of the meetups.

- Matt Cavotta
