Cloud Club is proud to announce this great event in February 2019 hosted in collaboration with University of Southern Denmark and Esoft on the topic of Microservices with focus on both current research and practical architecture considerations and examples.

Location: Dampmøllen Victoria, Sverigesgade 18 Odense C (Odense Harbour)

The program for the event is as follows

17.00: Welcome to Cloud Club
17.05: Microservices (Jacopo, SDU)

Abstract: Microservices is a software development technique that structures an application as a collection of loosely coupled services and is now universally adopted for the implementation of big, scalable, and distributed applications. In this talk, we will introduce what microservices are and present some of the current R&D initiatives at the Southern Denmark University (e.g., the first microservices-oriented language Jolie, the microservices community).

17:35: Microservices (Esoft)

Abstract: Esoft will present how to deploy and maintain a microservice architecture using Amazon Web Services. The context is deploying and maintaining machine learning models, but the content can easily be generalized. We will also touch on scalability, fault tolerance and latency considerations.

18:15 - ??:?? : Food & Networking

See you there!
