Learn new ways to code with deep technical training:
Join us at Microsoft Azure Developer Camp, a free technical training event for developers. Explore the latest developer tools and technologies and learn how to put your skills to work in new areas— like microservices, containers, and more.
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) makes it simple to deploy a managed Kubernetes cluster in Azure. AKS reduces the complexity and operational overhead of managing Kubernetes by offloading much of that responsibility to Azure. As a hosted Kubernetes service, Azure handles critical tasks like health monitoring and maintenance for you. In this lab, you’ll go through tasks that will help you master the basic and more advanced topics required to deploy a multi-container application to Kubernetes on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Topics you’ll be going through:
- Kubernetes deployments, services and ingress
- Azure Monitor for Containers, Horizontal Pod Autoscaler and the Cluster Autoscaler
- Building CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Azure Container Registry
- Scaling using Virtual Nodes, setting up SSL/TLS for your deployments, using Azure Key Vault for secrets
This is your chance to dive deep with Azure and walk away with fresh, leading-edge skills for developing, deploying, and managing cloud applications. And you can connect with the community—you’ll share tips and tricks, learn best practices, and expand your network.
*Please note that this workshop is primarily for developers and we kindly ask you to bring your own laptop.
