Macmillan Cancer Support is on Albert Embankment immediately next to MI6. Nearest tube station is Vauxhall on the Victoria line or a 15 minute walk from Oval on the Northern line. There are numerous bus services available from Vauxhall bus terminus.

We know that the marketing landscape for business has changed and we need to ensure that we make those changes work for us. In this session, we will focus on key ideas such as, word of mouth in a social world, the engagement marketing cycle, and how you can use that engagement to drive social visibility that will bring customers back through your door and introduce new prospects to your business.

Speaker 1 – Kathy Ennis, Managing Director, LittlePiggy

Kathy Ennis works with people who want to start a business, brand a business or market a business. With extensive experience in business planning, engagement marketing, visual communication and brand creation Kathy has delivered mentoring, business consultancy and training to a wide variety of individuals and organisations. During the meetup, Kathy will share her tips and ideas for effective email marketing, helping you to grow your communities and their engagemenet, and she will answer your questions during the Q&A session.

Speaker 2 – Rebecca Fitzgerald, Social Media Community Manager, Strawberry Social (

Community managers need to drive engagement and encourage UGC from their members. Building a content calendar can help you achieve maximum impact with your members, in terms of engagement and content. Rebecca Fitzgerald is well known in the social media space as an expert in building content calendars. She will walk us through identifying themes, taking note of external activities which can be leveraged for campaigns, and give us specific tips and tricks on building a content calendar, not just for social media but for forums and UGC as well.
