Whether you are just starting your fitness journey, looking to increase your athletic performance, or somewhere in-between THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE! Just bring you, your friends, water, and a fun attitude to Geronimo Running Squad. We meet every Sunday 9AM at Shingle Creek Trailhead.
Regardless of your level of conditioning, Geronimo Running Squad gets you prepared for upcoming races. Whether you're just getting off the couch or can easily run a mile, this activity will challenge you for about an hour, including stretching before and after. Running shoes are highly recommended. Bring water and a fun attitude since we'll be playing music while running intervals.
Two types of training will be offered:
One Mile Run - SL, In-Training NASM Personal Trainer
New to running? No worries! We'll walk and run in intervals at a pace that is comfortable for everyone in the group. Over consecutive meet ups, our goal is to condition our bodies to eventually run a full mile without stopping.
5K Run - Jay, NASM Certified Personal Trainer
Looking for a fun challenge? If you're able to run a mile comfortably (without stopping) and want to train with high energy and purpose, this training is for you! We will be walking and running in mile intervals at a pace that motivates everyone in the group. Over multiple meet ups, our goals is to build our stamina for 5K runs.
