I had lots of fun' I had a new robot to explore, which was sitting in its box unopened. Now, Romo (renamed Ada for Ada Byron Lovelace) is up and running. Friendly people. Great location. Delicious pizza. Welcoming organizer. Thanks!

Great turnout so far everyone. 32 and counting. It's not too late. Pulse pizza arriving shortly. We will be here until midnight. Come when you want. Leave when you want.....as long as it's before we shut it down :)

Anyone in Florissant who has a car willing to let me ride shotgun with them? A strong thunderstorm has me trapped at my home at the moment rather than commuting on the bus.

So glad we are getting great feedback from everyone on the changes and there will be more to come tonight at the meetup. Again, just to remind everyone there is free parking at 18th and Washington Ave. (Look for the Imo's sign or meters are free after 7pm) and free wi-fi for everyone. There is also plenty of different types of seating with power outlets and USB outlets galore. We look forward to seeing everyone tonight. It will definitely be a good group. Bring your friends. We will have Pulse Pizza, Soda, and Bud Select. Sorry for the beer selection tonight. Working on a Schlafly sponsorship for the next one. You are all more than welcome to bring your own food or beverage. See you tonight!

Is the parking in a marked lot, anything we should look for?

    June 27, 2014

That's the spot I thought you meant, just wanted to make sure. Thanks.

Going to try and make it tonight. How does it work? Just come in, sit down and start coding? Are there tables or couches? I am assuming there will be WiFi.

    June 27, 2014

    • Tom K.

Hi Eldho! That's pretty much it. Plenty of seating of all types... add in some Pulse pizza, a cold beverage and a good conversation...or headphones and you got yourself a good night. There is free wifi and free parking.

Out of curiosity, do we have to be there for the whole thing? I would stay for the entire thing if we were actually coding until dawn instead of midnight when the buses stop running.

Hi Jason. Welcome to the meet up. Come when you want. Leave when you want. We will be making some announcements on the new direction of the meetup somewhere in the middle(unless there's a big group earlier) Hint: it involves much more coding and direction to the meetup.
