We're back for Coffee&Code#005 for another beginner level challenge. We'll be having a go at some CSS animations, with a few options / different levels to try.

We'll be using CodeSandBox, an online editor, so there's nothing to download beforehand. It's helpful if you have a GitHub account set up to access this however if not, you can do that on the day.

Although it's not a taught session, there will be a guest mentor to help guide us through, David Cutting. David is an award-winning, Computer Science lecturer and author, with background in IT consulting. Having completed an MSc and PhD at the University of East Anglia, he is now a Lecturer (Education) at Queen's University.

All are welcome to attend, you just need to bring your laptop / charger. If you're completely new to code, come along for a chat to see what it's all about or have a go at some intro exercises which we provide.

About Coffee&Code Belfast

Our events are ideal for those who are new to code, or those who would like to revisit / practice development, in a relaxed and supportive environment. Since January 2019, we've been meeting and working on mini challenges with HTML / CSS, Vue, and Python.

Our sponsor, Clockwise Belfast, a flexible co-working space based in the newly renovated and stunning River House building in the Cathedral Quarter, is kindly providing a fantastic space and hot beverages to keep us going on a Saturday morning! For more info on Clockwise Belfast check out: https://workclockwise.co.uk/

All levels and ages (18 to 100!) are welcome to join. All you need to bring is your own laptop, and a problem-solving attitude! Even if you've no coding experience, please come along for a coffee and a chat and see what it's all about.

Before attending, please ensure you have RSVPed and read our Code of Conduct: https://www.meetup.com/coffee-code-belfast/pages/28659445/Code_of_Conduct/
