How you ever tasted the difference between a dark roasted coffee and a blonde roast? What about a single-origin coffee versus a blend of beans from different global regions? Have you ever had the perfect pairing of food with your coffee?
This group is about coffee - flavors, notes, mouth-feels, aftertaste, aroma, bitterness, richness, and all the other experiences our senses bring us when we thoughtfully taste our coffee.
We meet to try and compare different blends of Starbucks' world famous arabica coffee beans from Latin America, Africa, and Asia. We talk about (and taste) espressos and lattes, cafe mistos, cappuccinos, ristretto, long and short pulls, and a number of other varieties of Starbucks coffee.
We pair our drinks with some different foods that help bring out some of the features in these beans. Butter croissants, cream cheese danishes, vanilla bean scones, maybe even a breakfast sandwich.
But best of all - we connect as humans. Starbucks' motto is "with every cup, with every conversation, with every community - we nurture the limitless possibilities of human connection."
