This is CoInvent’s annual NY demo night event. Stephanie joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2014 and focuses on venture and growth-stage investments in technology-enabled businesses. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Stephanie was a Founding Partner at Dorm Room Fund, a student-run venture fund seeded by First Round Capital. She also spent time investing in and working with later stage businesses at Insight Venture Partners and The Blackstone Group.
Before her career in venture capital, Stephanie worked in business development at Wishberry and co-founded PennLets, the student subletting marketplace in University City.
Stephanie graduated Beta Gamma Sigma and summa cum laude from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania, where she concentrated in both Finance and Operations & Information Management. While at Penn, she served on the Weiss Tech House Innovation Fund, co-founded The Bell Society, and was an executive board member of The Eco Reps. She also was a member of Delta Delta Delta and helped her intramural softball team win the league championship.
Her interest in technology stems back to 2006, when she conducted a research study of teen social networks at Columbia Business School. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys boating, playing tennis, and designing jewelry. She caught the travel bug after studying abroad in Sydney, Australia and has since backpacked to 21 different countries.

Jenny Fielding serves as a Managing Director at TechStars, LLC since June 2014. She is responsible for investing in hardware, internet of things, and fintech. Ms. Fielding serves as an Executive Director of Textingly, Inc. She served as a Head of Digital Ventures at BBC Worldwide from January 2011 to June 2014. She led venture investments and contributed to various new digital growth opportunities across the organization. She founded BBC Labs at the firm. She was a Chief Operating Officer at Wodan Capital from January 2010 to December 2010. She was a founding partner of the Swiss fund and was responsible for operations and fund formation.
Jenny Fielding was a Founder and President of Switch-Mobile from March 2005 to December 2009. She was an Associate of JP Morgan Chase from October 2003 to February 2005. She was working with high net worth individuals on asset allocation and investment strategies. She was an Associate at Morgan Stanley from March 2002 to September 2003. She served as a Business and Legal at Wieden + Kennedy from September 1999 to November 2001 and was responsible for licensing and contracts for TV commercials, print production and digital media projects.
Fielding serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of Flooved Ltd. She held Board Observer positions including Viki and Spaceport. She has a diverse background in law, finance, operations, business development, and venture capital. She studied at Columbia University in the city of New York.

Lisa focuses on early to late stage venture investments across a wide range of sectors at NVP, with an emphasis on consumer Internet. Before joining the NVP team, Lisa worked as an intern in Amazon.com's Worldwide Corporate Development team. In this role, she identified and evaluated acquisition targets and strategic investments for Amazon and provided strategies for potential expansion.
Prior to Amazon, Lisa worked at Bessemer Venture Partners, where she originated and conducted due diligence on early to growth stage investment opportunities, including several top eCommerce, SaaS, consumer Internet, and healthcare IT companies. Lisa has also worked in the venture capital arm of Comcast Corporation, and earlier, Lisa founded BANZAI! Fresh, a small business providing high-quality, nutritious foods to schools and hospitals in Northern California. Lisa began her career in the investment banking group at Merrill Lynch.

Devon McDonald is a Partner at OpenView, where she sits on the firm’s investment committee and oversees OpenView’s Growth team, a group of Research, Sales and Marketing Strategists responsible for helping its portfolio companies acquire more customers and scale at an accelerated rate. At the start of her time with OpenView, Devon built and managed business development programs for over a dozen portfolio companies. Prior to joining the firm in 2009, she previously worked at Michael Page International, a global recruiting services firm, where she managed Sales and Marketing recruitment.
Devon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Colgate University.
