Our 6pm (US ET) talk on Thursday Apr 1 will be a "BlazeDS and ColdFusion 9...Going Above and Beyond Chat", with Dave Ferguson.
TOPIC DESCRIPTION: (provided by the speaker)
BlazeDS has been a part of ColdFusion for a couple of versions now, but it's not that widely used. This could be because some don't know what it can do, but also it's often shown as a tool to create chat clients. This presentation's means to show that BlazeDS is not just for chat but a whole lot more. We'll use demos to show the versatility and strength of the tool, what you can do. It will also show how you can integrate jQuery into the mix for a more user-friendly interface, as well as show how the versatility of ColdFusion and how it can be added to the Mix as well to create a real-world workflow example.
Again, the goal of the presentation is to show what can be done. When you start to meld technology, think creatively , and have great software, then anything is possible.
