Join Steve Drucker, author of the "Upgrading to HTML 5" instructor-led class for a tour of new application-level functionality in HTML 5. You'll get an overview of the Forms 2.0 Widgets, defining a custom WYSIWYG editor, drawing with the canvas element, using Web Sockets for browser-server communications, storing data locally - including databases and offline caching of your app, implementing Drag & Drop, and using the Notification API.

Steve has been developing ColdFusion applications since 1995, founded the very first ColdFusion users group, was a contributing author to the very first book about ColdFusion, and has authored over a dozen hands-on, instructor-led training courses including Advanced ColdFusion 9, Administering ColdFusion, Fast Track to AJAX with ColdFusion, and Fast Track to Presto Enterprise Mashups. He is also an author of Adobe's ColdFusion 9 certification exam. Steve has consulted on some of the largest ColdFusion sites ever deployed including Voice of America (www.voanews.com), National Park Service (www.nps.gov), Hasbro (www.hasbro.com), and Architect of the Capitol (www.aoc.gov).
