What we’re about
Working on a writing project? Need some external motivation and and/or a fresh set of eyes to answer questions or give your work a read? I'm hoping to start a small group of writers that can provide some mutual support. This wouldn't be a critique/workshop. Instead, it would be a regular meet up to help stay disciplined with the writing practice as well as fellow writer to bounce ideas off of.
I'm thinking meeting twice a month and perhaps rotating through coffee shops. I'm in Edgewater but happy to travel.
Just to give a flavor of the writing I'm trying to emulateI, I love Nabokov, WG Sebald, Angela Carter, James Baldwin, Bruno Schulz, Clarice Lispector, William Blake, Samuel Beckett, Maria Durmount, and Henri Bergson.
