What sort of change would you like to see in the world?

A world in which we don’t take more than we need and we share what we have; we nourish vitality around us; we're open to what we don’t know, celebrating diversity and emergence; and where the potential of each life and all life has a chance to unfold.

What are you doing to achieve it? Are you working with a particular organisation or group? Are there any projects you're working on that you'd like to share?

I work in the Victorian Eco-Innovation Lab (VEIL) which researches, visualises and advocates for positive sustainable futures (www.ecoinnovationlab.com). After 8 or so years in and out of govt, I have recently cut ties and set up a social enterprise (Eaterprises Australia – www.eaterprises.com.au/blog) to focus on building resilient food systems from the ground up as a matter of urgency. My work is focused on the creation of sustainable, resilient and fair food systems that support the vitality of people (farmers and eaters) and ecologies. My current focus is proactively adapting, replicating and scaling-up local and regional food systems through independent but deeply networked social enterprises.

What are your favourite organisations, projects or campaigns that are making a positive impact in the world?

It would be pretty cool to collaborate with Vandana Shiva - she's feisty, audacious, smart, strategic, well-armed - all round inspiring and general force of nature!

Introduction

Hello - I'm passionate about food systems and the opportunities we have to reconnect the world through our relationships with our food. I also like exciting people, conversations about what is possible and particularly actions that make it so.
