Get ready to get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing! In this beginner-friendly **wheel-throwing pottery class**, you’ll learn how to prepare clay, center it on the wheel, and shape a small bowl. No experience needed — just bring your curiosity and a sense of fun!

This class focuses on the process, not perfection. You’ll leave with hands-on experience and, if you’re lucky, a small **greenware** piece — a fragile, decorative item you can take home the same day. If you’d like to finish and glaze your piece to make it food-safe, sign up for our follow-up **“Paint Your Own Pottery”** class (available 3+ days after your session).

* Bisque firing: $5 per piece
* Glazing: from $10 per piece

### **🕓 Class Details**

* **Duration:** 2 hours
* **Location:** Color Cocktail Factory, 1142 W 18th St, Chicago, IL(next to Bobijoa Korean Kitchen, across from Chicago Tattoo)
* **Parking:** Paid street parking only — please arrive early or use public transit/Uber.
* **Late arrivals:** Classes start 10 minutes after the scheduled time; no entry after 30 minutes late (reschedule fee: $15).

* Wear comfy clothes that can get messy!
* Aprons are provided (disposable aprons $1).

At **Color Cocktail Factory**, we believe art should be fun, accessible, and a little messy. Classes are **public group sessions**, so expect a lively atmosphere! If you’d prefer a more private experience, we’re happy to schedule a private lesson just for you.
