For the safety and comfort of hikers meeting new people in far places, your profile MUST contain an identifiable photo of you (no pets, kids, flowers, etc) and at least your first name. Otherwise you may be removed from the group. Is this acceptable?

This hiking and snowshoeing group is geared towards those who hike often, get regular aerobic activity and like to have fun. Does this sound appropriate for you?

This group sounds perfect for me. I work out everyday, lift weights and go run and I hike lots and lots.

When we travel distances we sometimes arrange carpools. Are you comfortable with contributing money for gas or park entrance fees to a driver?

I agree with helping for gas expense and any parking entrance fees. It's the right thing to do if you are going in somone elses car.

If you repeatedly sign up for events and don't show up, you may be removed from the group. Please be courteous to others, and unlist yourself as soon as possible if you have signed up and cannot attend. Is this acceptable?

What if you change you're RSVP on time before not showing. Things can happen that will impede someone from not being able to attend. When I RSVP Yes I make it a point to show up.

All outdoor activities involve risk. You must be responsible for yourself and your well-being on any hike. You must also bring adequate clothing, water and food for the hike and accept the risks of hiking in the wilderness. Do you agree with this?

Introduction

I love the outdoors and want to make new friends. In Vegas I was a member of the Vegas Hiking meetup group.
