On September 9th, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. the Masonic Philosophical Society will be hosting a study group at the Masonic Library. Each month a different topic, ranging from philosophy and science to religion and metaphysics, is discussed and debated. Please arrive at 5:45 P.M. so the discussion can begin promptly at 6:00 P.M.
September’s topic will be conducted by Brother Bryon Gorrell on Freemasonry and Theology: The Elohim - A Fable or Reality? If real, what are the implications for humanity? After a short lecture, a discussion and debate by the group will follow.
The term “Elohim” has been alternately identified as a name of God, angels, demons, or other types of supernatural beings. It has been associated with The Shining Ones, the Anunnaki, Nephilim, and the Watchers. So what is more likely the case--is the Elohim a fable or reality? And what are the implications for Humanity? Join us on our journey as we investigate the different possibilities and their significance.
Join us for this month's study group.
This group for men and women, which is open to the public, is where non-members can learn more about Freemasonry, as well as meet local Freemasons.
