Volleyball Setting and Ball Control Clinic

Do you need to learn how to set? Or, you already know how to set a volleyball and you just need some practice and repetition...

Come to Tuesday night's Happy Hour Setting Class.

We'll be running several setting drills, going over a few tutorials, playing a few games, and of course - practice practice practice.

Hand-setting is not easy and definitely is NOT for everyone. Come on out and solidify your technique and learn how to deliver good, spankable - legally safe sets!

The cost of this clinic is $10

RSVP now and we'll see you there:

Washington Park
Tuesday, August 28th
6:15 PM - 8:15 PM

Look for the two yellow nets in the SW area of the main meadow caddy-corner to the tennis courts just N of the children's playground.

Thank you Myke! I felt that it was quite informative, although clearly there were many varying skill levels present. I'm not sure if there's a more strategic way to bridge the knowledge gap because I could sense a bit of frustration from some, but I sincerely appreciate the input. I'm new to Denver and wanted to find something outdoors. Although I've played "picnic" volleyball than anything else, it seems that there are many opportunities to learn more specifics (educational clinics AND people willing to share their knowledge and experience). Thank you all for your helpful tips. On another note, I had a bit of trouble finding the group (there really are many people out playing), but now that I've visited Wash Park, the location description makes more sense. At the risk of overkill, it may be helpful to signal the group's meeting with a large visible object near the net we meet at -- a fun crazy printed umbrella perhaps? Nonetheless, this clinic is definitely worth the money spent!
