Freemasonry and the Brain (January 11, 2014)

On January 11, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. the Masonic Philosophical Society will be hosting a study group at the Centerville Library. Each month a different topic, ranging from philosophy and science to religion and metaphysics, is discussed and debated.

January's topic will be conducted by Brother Katie Cumsille on Freemasonry and the Brain. After a short lecture a discussion and debate by the group will follow.

We are not born with the brain we will die with. Many people believe that we are genetically destined to think and be a certain way. The extraordinary nature of the human mind is that it is ours to shape its greatness and to defy limitations set only by ourselves. Join us as we discuss the realm of the brain and the impact of Freemasonry on its cultivation.

This group for men and women, which is open to the public, is where non-members can learn more about Freemasonry, as well as meet local Freemasons.

Looking forward to this topic. In my opinion, the Brain is the most important and unexplored part of Humanity. Unlocking it would do so much in explaining our potential and course in life.
