I thought we would do something a little different. Do you remember the total solar eclipse in 2017? I do, and it lived up to all of the hype! We are once again in the path of totality. I thought it would be fun to watch the eclipse with friends while camping. Unfortunately, most places are already booked.

RD found a campground in Perryville that has sites available. It used to be a KOA campground, and it remains private. So, it's more expensive than state parks, but it is close to St. Louis! If you don't want to camp, they also have cabins.

The eclipse will be on Monday. We are planning on arriving Sunday, and leaving Tuesday. Of course, we will have a solar party on Monday!!

If you can't camp, come down for the day to enjoy the eclipse.
