Dave DeLuca ~ Presenting Vedanta’s Ancient Oneness Wisdom Every Friday Evening

Reverend Glenda and Reverend Judy are thrilled to welcome Dave DeLuca, one of the West’s most highly regarded Vedanta teachers, as an Associate at Common Ground. Every Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, starting on October 14, 2011, Dave will teach the sacred principles and practices of the oldest living Oneness wisdom directly from the source scriptures, and he will offer ongoing guidance on how to use them to create greater joy, purpose and love in our day-to-day lives.

For those of you new to Vedanta, this is the Oneness wisdom that most inspired every major pioneer of New Thought in the West, including Ralph Waldo Emerson (founder of the Transcendentalists), Henry David Thoreau, Emma Curtis Hopkins, Ernest Holmes (founder of Religious Science), and Charles and Myrtle Fillmore (founders of Unity).

You can learn more about Dave and Vedanta by visiting

Dave’s newest book, Sacred Jewels of Yoga, is an exquisite compilation of one-page passages from some of India’s most revered Vedanta and yoga scriptures – the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, the Yoga Sutras, the Bhakti Sutras, and others – along with teachings by two of the most beloved yoga masters of the modern era, Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda.

Huston Smith, author of the beloved The World’s Religions and perhaps the most respected religious scholar in America, had this to say about Sacred Jewels of Yoga:

“Few causes are more worthy than that of enlightening Westerners about India’s sacred heritage, and this book succeeds in doing that wondrously.”
