This Meetup is for you if you live on the Westside of Chicago and are committed to meeting in small dialogue groups to share our vulnerable stories and build deeper relationships that form the foundations of strong communities. The more we go deep together, the more we will learn, grow, and develop our mutual capacity to see each other with empathy.
The format for our events is currently online (Zoom), though we look forward to meeting in person once that becomes safe for everyone. Each event is facilitated by a Spaceholder who is experienced in making space for all voices to be heard.
If you are already hosting dialogue circles related to social issues such as racial justice and bridging the political divide, we'd love to work with you to de-fragment the numerous efforts so that we can build a stronger concentrated force for good together.
Compassionate Westside Chicago is free to join, though specific events may have a payment structure based on a sliding scale to ensure fair compensation for the organizers, accessibility and equity of voices.
