Each Saturday, a small group of parents (single/divorced/married) gathers in a safe place to learn how to work through common complaints using a simple 3 step process. These 2 hour hands-on workshops are led by a facilitator and require a nominal fee for participation.
Feel free to come to any meetup, regardless of your interest in the topic. You can still learn the process and apply it to your own situation.
This adult-only private meetup is designed to create a safe environment for all parents to share and work through shared concerns.
This information is going to help me tremendously in my relationship with myself, my sons and my husband! I will never look at a complaint the same way again. I now know that there is a need that is trying to be met! It will help me to better understand my boys when they whine or throw fits, or when I want to whine or throw fits! I will be better at understanding and resolving complaints by being more compassionate with others and be better able to express my needs rather than just complain. Thank you Jessie for teaching me this and for this valuable tool. (Mother of four boys)
Since reading it, I think that I hardly complain, if ever, anymore because I reframe my complaints as needs or wants now. (Mother)
I wish I had been aware of the insights Jessie shared for translating relationship complaints 20 years ago. A treasure for her to share. (Grandmother)
I can certainly say this is practical and helpful for the development of new skills for attitude perspectives/adjustments. (Pastor, Dad of 3)
Complaint Therapy will give you immediate relief. The steps are intuitive and you’ll feel better by connecting your emotions to real and practical actions. (Father of 3 boys)
Within 20 minutes of using the worksheet, I was at peace knowing I needed to use that energy towards myself instead. I was even able to use the worksheet with my three year old in the room, which was at times distracting! Complaint Therapy quickly shifts the focus from outer chaos to inner calm. What a great place to make decisions and positive changes within moments. Anyone and everyone should give this a try. (Mother of toddler)
