?Low Plains Drifter? ? an exercise in Pedal Steel Autodidaction

Hey there fellow Composers:

Following a crash course in the beauty and complexity of the pedal steel guitar, I've just finished a new piece called "Low Plains Drifter" (an earlier version of which was debuted at the last Meetup).

It's not quite yer old man’s (or anyone’s) “country”...  Dark strings, electronic drones, ghostly piano...  What you might hear if Flying Saucer Attack and Wilco co-scored a David Lynch western...???

Submitted for yr dining and dancing pleasure:

[The blog itself will, over time, become a more populated source of musical musings — Stay tuned!!]
