Let's go tubing! Lower McIver to Barton Park on the Clackamas River

Let's float down the Clackamas River! We'll put in at the lower McIver boat ramp and enjoy a nice easy 3-4 hour float to Barton Park. It’s a beautiful section of water and easy to navigate. We'll meet at Barton Park, then carpool up to McIver Park. At the end of the float we'll need volunteers to take the drivers back to McIver.

Bring a good, river-worthy tube (I like the Intex River Run tubes, they're usually under $20 at Big 5.) You might also consider bringing paddles, sun protection, and a life jacket. And snacks, drinks, and plenty of water are a must!

The event is free but McIver Park and Barton Park require a $5 day-use permit which you purchase at the kiosks at the front gates.
