Wine Room Book Trivia

The book for December is The Briar Club by Kate Quinn.
This is book is set in the 1950's in Washington, DC that follows the lives of five women living in a boardinghouse who form an unlikely friendship. The story explores their secrets and struggles against the backdrop of the McCarthy era, Cold War paranoia, and changing roles for women in post-war America. When a shocking act of violence occurs, the women must uncover the truth and decide who the real enemy is.
Although this might not be the kind of book you would enjoy, don't read it just come and have a fun time enjoying the company and drink wine. The trivia starts at 7:30. Our group actually won the November event.
