Conscious Dance Hong Kong

Monday October 20th, 7-9pm we invite you to experience life with an undefended heart.

The body is constantly scanning both our internal and external environment for cues of perceived threat or safety. This happens below the radar of the conscious mind. We often “armor up” in response to a challenging situation, particularly ongoing persistent stress, and these defense strategies limit us from engaging fully with life. Dancing to the theme De-Armoring provides us with an opportunity to become aware of our own heart’s armor, and to shake off, cast away, lay down, suddenly drop or slowly shed the layers holding us back from authentic self-expression.

Featuring a carefully curated playlist and set in a spacious dance studio with wooden floors, Conscious Dance is a safe and supportive space for play, connection, and community. Come as you are, heart wide open, closely guarded or anywhere in between.

Venue and Timing

Dance Concept - 佳誠大廈
7 Floor, 230 Wan Chai Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong

7pm to 9pm - Doors close at 7:20pm sharp

Please arrive at 7pm so you have ample time to settle in to the private dance floor that has been prepared for you. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and be prepared to dance barefoot or with footwear designed exclusively for the dance floor. No street shoes are permitted.

Session Rates

We welcome your contributions on a sliding scale from HK$100 to 350.
