STATE ABORTION LAWS: With Alabama’s passage of the most restrictive state abortion laws last week, the conversation on abortion is at a fever pitch. More states are continuing to either create or alter current abortion laws to either be more lenient or more restrictive. Are these new laws going too far? WHITE HOUSE IMMIGRATION PLAN: The WH has proposed a new immigration plan that centers a more merit based approach. The Democrats have declared it DOA and has received mixed reactions overall. Is this a step in the right direction or not much of a solution at all? INMATE VOTING: Senator and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders took the ex-felon voting debate to the next level by advocating for current inmates to have the ability to vote in elections. Sanders argues voting is an inalienable right and being incarcerated is a non-factor in maintaining that right. What are your thoughts?
