Think you know Sherry? You don’t know sherry.
But sherry knows you. She knows that your only experience with her has likely been your 12-year-old self rudely pounding gulps of her from your grandmother’s stash of Harvey’s Bristol Cream—and the harrowing, stomach-turning consequences that followed.
Bad sherry. Bad.
Come see what real sherry tastes like at Terroir TriBeCa during happy hour, where the sherry runs freely! (Well, not "free"—but it is the ridiculously low price of $2.50 a glass. The people there also truly love it, say it is "the most underrated beverage on the planet earth," and did actually once give it away for free just to get people into it. And there is so very much to love.)
We'll spend the first 30 mins tasting three different kinds of sherry (you choose what you want to order or share with friends) and learning a bit about the art and craft of sherry—and, if you're interested, why I, Amy, have a special writerly Spanish connection to it.
We'll bring our laptops and after a mild sherry buzz will begin working away on whatever we didn't get around to finishing this week, providing for a great transition to a clear, amazing weekend!
(This is part of a special series called 14 Days of Coworking. Head to our Meetup page to see the other events happening around town!)
(Note: While the event is free, the sherry is not. But it will be rather affordable!)
