Three BIG announcements

From: Bryan K.

Hello, Coworkers! I'm excited to make three BIG announcements today. And, no, I'm not being hyperbolic! : )

JellyLA > Cowork.LA

This group grew dramatically in 2012! We now have over 800 members and more than 10 events a month. I know event notifications are crowding your inbox. And, I always have people asking me "Why is it called Jelly?" so…

Over the next few months, we'll be making changes to make your group experience better. First and foremost, JellyLA will become Cowork.LA. Secondly, auto-reminder emails will be stopped, and a single email will be sent once a week to announce all upcoming events for the Cowork.LA (and some others you may be interested in : ).

If you have any other positive changes you'd like to see, just reply to this email to get in touch with me.

Need to code? Take Dev 101!

Coloft Academy will be hosting a four-week HTML/CSS intensive starting April 9. And, guess what? I'm teaching! If you have been saying "I really need to learn to code" but haven't found the motivation, Web Dev 101 is the course for you.

As part of the course, you'll get a free year of Team Treehouse membership ($250 value). Treehouse has over 650+ videos and lessons to help you become a bona fide web developer!

Interested? Come see me at the free info session for Web Dev 101 next Tuesday at Coloft:

Get Featured on TouchdownSpace

Dena Levitz of TouchdownSpace is seeking companies and individuals who are pushing the boundaries of tradition by working outside of dedicated office space. If you're a member of a company, and frequently telecommute, work from home, or have an "alternative" work situation—and would like some free exposure for your company—reach out to Dena at [address removed].

Happy coworking! Finish the week strong!
