Hello, Co-workers! Six topics covered below. Scan the headline and read more if you're interested.
For all you Twitterers, follow @mintreaction for the latest #JellyLA updates. Our regular hash tags are #JellyLA, #coworking, #jelly, and the region of LA we'll be in that week (#silverlake).
Aside from the MeetUp page, Twitter is the best source of info about Jelly LA.
JELLY LA: SILVERLAKE
Where is a fantastic co-working space in Silverlake with a bunch of perks: parking, comfortable hosting of up to 45 people, free wi-fi that extends outside into the park, Rock Band and Guitar Hero to help clear your head, a caf? next door, and plenty of other food options within walking distance.
Normally, you pay to use this space, but Where will always be free for Jelly LA coworkers on Jelly LA days. We will be there every other Friday (when we're not in Santa Monica) before Where's normal Friday event Meet. Mix. Mogul, so come co-work and stick around the "after party."
We're even trying to get the Kogi BBQ Truck to come around...
For those of you that didn't hear, Kogi BBQ has taken LA by storm dishin' out scrumtious Korean BBQ Tacos and other delicious fare all around town using Twitter to announce the locations of the night.
We'd like them to make Jelly LA: Silverlake a regular stop on Fridays, so... Jelly LA needs your help! Tweet them requesting they stop at Where during Jelly LA.
BLANKSPACES ANNIVERSARY BLAST
Blankspaces is a co-working space in Mid-Wilshire (and a future home of Jelly LA, I hope). They are celebrating their one-year anniversary on April 16 from 7-10pm with cocktails, massages, and music.
The event is free if you RSVP before April 15, so reserve your ticket today!
FUNNEL MILL, GROUND RULES
Thank you to the regular co-workers that have made our Jelly LA: Santa Monica at Funnel Mill successful. We've quickly outgrown the cozy space. However, we will continue to host Jelly LA: Santa Monica there until we can find another suitable space. (Message me if you know/have such a space.)
Now, Funnel Mill's owners and I ask three things of you:
-- Please take all cell phone calls outside (or talk softly).
-- Respect the other patrons and share your space if possible.
-- Support the establishment by buying at least on drink.
WE GET AROUND!
Go visit Charlie Basil and the South Bay co-workers at Paciugo Gelato Caffe every third Wednesday of the month. Want to see Jelly LA in your neighborhood? Have the perfect space to host us? Get in touch with me, [address removed].
Looking forward to seeing you next Friday, April 17 at Funnel Mill!
