Thanks to the organizers for sharing their exceptional knowledge about Linux and creating a session where we all got an opportunity to learn and exchange ideas with each other...a great kickstart to Linux and the Memorial Day weekend...

I had a great time, and learned a lot. The experts were patient with us newbies. Looking forward to future meetups.

    Which version of Linux? Debian?

I believe most of the distros we will cover are debian based. But I dont think we will work with debian directly.
If you have questions specifically relating to debian Im sure someone at the event will be able to help.

This will be the perfect place for that. At this event we will walk you through most of what you will need to know to use Linux as your everyday OS.

It's been a while since we did an Installfest or other "intro" style meeting. Good idea.
