Craft Bar Chicago is back from Summer vacation! This month's theme celebrates the changing of the seasons with nature-themed projects that are sure to get you energized for cooler breezes, warm coats, and long walks amidst colorful, falling leaves.
Crafts:Hand-stamped Leaf Bookmarks - Cooler weather means more time to stay indoors and snuggle up with a good book. Stamp and embellish wood-grain paper bookmarks using leaves and other natural embellishments. Finish off your bookmark with a beaded loop or pom-pom tassel. Taught by Gina Morgan of Queen Destiny Designs (https://www.etsy.com/shop/queendestiny) and Waldo of Wizard at Work. (https://www.etsy.com/shop/WizardAtWork)
Personalized Journals - Join us in welcoming our newest teacher and CBC member, Mary, as she guides you in creating beautiful decoupage journal covers decorated with embellishments, fall leaf silhouettes, and personalized with your initials / monogram. Leaf Sachets - For those looking to sit and stitch, grab some felt & filler, a needle & thread, and make a fabulously-scented autumn sachet. Mignonette Bridal owner (and dress-maker extraordinaire) Kpoene Kofi-Nicklin (http://mignonettebridal.com/store/), will lead the way.
September's Craft Bar Chicago is held at Mignonette Bridal, 1747 W. Belmont Avenue. (http://mignonettebridal.com/contact/)
