Performance Canine Association out of Colts Neck NJ is holding a lure coursing ability test this Saturday.  Advance registrations close today, but they are taking day of registrations as well, (as space permits). This is an AKC event for purebred and mixed breeds.  Dogs have the ability of getting titles in this event!

Below is more information from the club contact/president Michael Stoble. For more information, please contact him at [address removed]

Colts Neck NJ, Coursing Ability Test (CAT) Reminder.... Saturday Sept. 17th 9-12 am is the date of the first PCA-CAT match. Try something new with your dog.  This is great practice for next years sanctioned AKC test where anything with four paws is eligible to earn an AKC title. Treat your dog and yourself  to a fun day out ! . Pre entries close soon so hurry . There will be a photographer on site to capture the action, ribbons for qualifying dogs, and a lunch truck to celebrate!

Information can also be found on the AKC:
http://www.akc.org/events/coursing_ability_test/index.cfm
http://www.akc.org/pdfs/events/lure_coursing/Coursing_Ability_Regulations.pdf

To be able to earn titles dogs must be reg'd with the AKC. They are open to purebred as well as mixed breed entries. Dogs participating must be in good health and over 12 months of age.

We will be attending with Tegan :)
