Kitchener Coffee & Conversation - The Weather

They say when you don’t have anything else to talk about you can always talk about the weather. And at this time of year it seems to be quite a hot topic ;) So this week let’s talk about all the things we love and hate about the weather.

We probably don’t need these, but here are some questions to spark some thoughts…

• What is your favourite time of year and what types of things do you do to enjoy the weather in every season?
• What was your worst weather related experience and how do you cope with harsh weather?
• What’s your general attitude toward the weather? Do you have any interesting weather related facts?

According to AI, the weather is the most frequently discussed topic because it’s a safe subject, it’s universally relevant, it doesn’t require special knowledge, and it connects us through a shared experience. So those are all good reasons for you to join us for what I expect will be the most fascinating conversation you’ve ever had about the weather :)

And speaking of the weather, this is the time of year when unpredictable weather may require us to cancel. So be sure to check back here Thursday morning before heading out. Hope to see you Thursday!
