  • CSCPG Senior Shoot

    Needs a location

When you RSVP "Yes", you will be asked a few questions. It's a good idea to read the whole description of this meetup before you RSVP because if you get an answer wrong then your RSVP will be changed to "No". High School Seniors need portraits. You need to expand your portfolio. Why not do both with some high school seniors. The 411: Who: you and HS seniors. What: senior photos Where: an email with a location will be sent out about a week before the shoot. We are planning on shooting for ~2 hrs. Take a short dinner break. Meet at the second location. Shoot at a second location for ~2 hrs. When: August 17th@ 2:30PM for photographers. Why: because you need pictures and they need pictures How: press that button on your camera and magic happens :) This shoot will last probably ~4.5 hours not including the dinner break, depending on how many photographers and models sign up. You'll get to shoot at least 4 separate seniors. A link to a private gallery will be sent with the location email. The seniors and/or their parents will have the password to this gallery to download their images. You will be required to upload a minimum of 3 high resolution images without watermark per senior that you shoot (these are for printing and submitting to the year book). If you like you can also upload 3 low resolution images with a watermark on them (these are for Facebok and other internet use). The deadline to upload the images is Sep. 8, 2019. If you don't upload at least 3 high resolution images per senior then your membership will be suspended for 3 months even if you've paid dues. This is a common courtesy thing. They are giving us their time and we need to reciprocate. If there are extenuating circumstances then let me know and we'll work something out. After you upload the images, email me by responding to that initial email I sent out. I can check to make sure something didn't go wrong with the upload. If everything uploaded fine then I will email you the model releases. I'm going to try and keep the photographer to model ratio at 3:1 or 2:1. So you will have people to hold reflectors and lights and stuff. If we don't get enough photographers then you might be shooting solo. Play nice and help each other out. That's what it's all about. :) This is not a class on how to shoot seniors. This is a senior shoot. You're more than welcome to pick each other's brains and share your knowledge during the shoot.
