Upcoming Events and My Big News!

Hello, fellow members!

Here we are, just days away from Thanksgiving and I haven't even adjusted to summer being over yet! Oh well . . .

Just a few reminders:

1) The Dickens Fair event is shaping up nicely. We have a good group attending, and I am up to speed on the Adobe Touch apps I will be demoing. Yes, I broke down and bought a non-Adobe product. I bought a 32 GB Android based Galaxy 10.1 tablet and I must admit, it's pretty awesome! There will be Adobe folks on board and an extra tablet or two so you can try out the apps yourself! And of course, the Dickens Fair will be a hoot - I am dressing up this year, are you???

2) Our Christmas in the Park photowalk is also going to be a fun event! We have a Community Tree at the event again this year, and several members have volunteered to help me decorate (Mark Sebastian, John Agcaoili, Alex Bauzon, Andre Rubang) so we're putting our creative juices in motion to make this year's tree even more spectacular!

3) Our Mobile Camp for January 7 is also shaping up well. We have a plethora of relevant topics, and some of the best speakers in the mobile biz on hand, and it's all available for $10 for the entire day! More info on this event as it unfolds, but if you are into mobile, you won't want to miss it!

My big news (and let's face it, it's all about ME!) is my Adobe Captivate video training was released last week. Check it out; makes a great Christmas gift! There is a 20% discount that I can offer to members until December 31 - coupon code is CAPTIV:

My YouTube channel has some Captivate videos as well, with more topics to come. Subscribe here:

Happy Thanksgiving, all!
