Having been a software engineer and integration specialist at a south bay company that creates and sells well known financial and tax software products, and working for the Cloud based healthcare division, let me just say... it comes with the territory. 'Cloud' can be fragile and is only as strong as the weakest network connection or the latest software update, especially if that software comes from offshore, be it internal to the company or customer facing and the customer's network power.

I will never trust the cloud to important material, assets, and services of my own.

Hey, as you may have figured out, the CC content was not available in May. It was released on June 19th. I also signed up in May expecting to get the benefits discussed for the new Photoshop CC. The good news is that the content is now available.

There is, however a distinction between "sync" and "update". "Sync" is to keep your preferences synchronized between multiple CC products on multiple systems. "Update" is to get the latest versions/updates for product.

THanks for the update. Yes, I finally figured it all out. I now have CS5, CS6 and CC all running...paranoia runs deep!
