To usher in "The Year of the Horse" (according to the Chinese zodiac), the Confucius Institute at Cleveland State University will present a Chinese New Year Gala at the Cleveland Masonic and Performance Arts Center.
Entertainment will be provided by performers direct from China - a renowned art troupe from Northeast Normal University in Changchun, the capital of Jilin province. The troupe has traveled internationally performing in many countries and have been well received by the audiences.
The program, titled "China Welcomes Spring," promises to deliver an unforgettable evening of rich Chinese culture, complete with modern and traditional dances, art, music, martial arts, calligraphy and painting.
The program begins at 7:00, but if you wish to sit with other Meetup members, locate us somewhere inside the main doors at 6:30.
