Re: CTO School list: "Office Network Help"

I've used Geosot (geosot.com) across two companies now. I'm happy to outsource our wifi and internet to them. They chose Meraki and ZyWall, which I can login from anywhere and check myself if there is a problem. My contact is Sotiris Dimitropoulos.

Cheers,
Brent

Re: CTO School list: "Office Network Help"
Hi Jared!
I don't have any person in mind, but I can't rave enough about using Meraki (acquired by Cisco) for office wifi. They provide a full-featured managed service, and provide a pile of diagnostic tools, including bandwidth monitoring, frequency avoidance, etc. I've uploaded an office floor plan, and placed the access points on the map, and gotten good suggestions on how to improve the network from them.

I hear that Ubiquiti offers similar - so I'm less familiar with their platform - but good to have some options to evaluate.

Best,
-M

Office Network Help
Hey CTO school members, I need some advice. Our office network has begun to perform poorly as Bespoke Post has grown. At this point, we have almost 50 people in our office and the network setup that was previously fine seems to be struggling (especially the Wifi). Does anybody have recommendations for someone skilled at this who could come in and get things working well? If I try to do it myself, it seems like it's going require a lot of troubleshooting and learning-by-doing.

Thanks!
Jared Hales
