Geoff (If shows as replying to someone else, my apologies… Something glitching in my Outlook client),

With Bloomreach being an Open-Source / Java based CMS - We have a plethora of highly skilled Java engineers that can potentially be of help - Either by conversation or development support when / if needed…

Glad to pull off-thread and talk further - Will include technical representation as well (Should we talk)..

We are doing some great work within the group and community - Certain there are folks that would vouch for me / iTechArt…..

Feel free to drop me a line at - [address removed]

My best,

Jesse

Bloomreach experience?
Hi All,

I have a client who uses Bloomreach; and I suspect that they are using it very poorly. I'm seeing indications like it's taking them weeks to add a new content section to their website (no design work, just coding), and their developers are doing the work, not the owner of the content section. I was expecting something closer to Squarespace or Wordpress in terms of enabling basic self-service content management by non-technical users, but what I'm seeing is closer to hand-crafted pages that don't take advantage of a CMS. They're not even taking advantage of any advanced personalization functionality, yet. The developers are technically solid; but they are new to Bloomreach and might be fighting against it rather than fully leveraging its capabilities.

I'd love to speak with someone who has experience with Bloomreach to better understand what I should expect from the platform and how I might guide the team to use it more effectively.

Also, if any of you are (or can recommend) a great Bloomreach consultant/shop, I'd love to talk as there might be an opportunity.

Thank you,

Geoff
