Paderborn: Middle Ages, Present and Future!
Visit the Paderborn Cathedral (11th-16th Century), the City Hall which was built at the beginning of the 17th Century and learn about the history of information technology in Heinz-Nixdorf-Museum. From the first numbers and characters in Mesopotamia 3000 BC to today's Super Computers! You will see for example old typewriters and calculating machines as well as telephone switchboards from the 1950s and components of the first computers which were of a size that filled up complete rooms! etc! etc!
Meeting point: Information desk at the main entrance of Düsseldorf Hbf at 10:00 hrs
In case you prefer not to meet in Düsseldorf but to travel to Paderborn directly instead please let me know and be at the main entrance/exit of Paderborn station at 12:30 hrs
