Come join us for the 40th year anniversary of the Asian Celebration on Saturday July 19, Alton Baker Park.
This year, the Oregon Asian Celebration honors the Year of the Snake, symbolizing wisdom, transformation, and renewal.
Enjoy a full day of cultural performances showcasing the rich diversity of Asian and Asian American dance, music, martial arts, crafts, and exhibits.
Fun activities abound at this year’s festival! Don’t miss the on-site sign-up for the Karaoke Contest to share your talent and win a prize! And kids can pick up a Year of the Snake passport to get stamped as they explore the festival, while everyone can enjoy delicious Asian cuisine from more than a dozen food vendors.
Martial arts enthusiasts can enjoy exhibitions on a separate stage and participate in “how-to” sessions in the afternoon.
Be sure to take time to browse over 70 marketplace booths featuring crafts, goods, and community resources.
And stop by the Heritage Exhibit to see 40 years of festival posters and learn about the festival’s history.
