Women in Music Gathering (WIMG) Showcase at The Burren (seats limited)

Second annual showcase at The Burren by singer/songwriters and performing musicians of the artist-alliance group, The Women In Music Gathering (WIMG)

The Women In Music Gathering #WIMG is an artist-alliance of women in music: singer/songwriters and performing musicians, with the primary goals of collaboration and support, extending to both personal and professional aspects of being a woman in music.

Co-founded by Linda Marks and Colette O’Connor, this working collaboration of local, inter/national, and up and coming independent performers is fast becoming a fundraising powerhouse of professionals who share a stage.

WIMG is a multi-generational/lingual/talented group of music artists who identify as women and are living what they preach: "Never give up your voice!"

CiCi Eberle came onto the Boston singer/songwriter scene five years ago after relocating from Colorado. Using her unique rhythmic, fingerpicking style of guitar and her strong voice CiCi delivers original songs steeped in the subtle humor of everyday existence. Color of Sunlight is CiCi’s first CD with another to follow in 2019.

Jane Ross Fallon has over 35 songwriting awards! Jane credits her degrees in literature and music as sparking a lifetime love-affair with writing songs. Tom Bianchi says, “Jane is the real deal and holds the audience in the palm of her hand.” Jane has toured nationally and internationally. Smooth, rich vocals, fluid fingerpicking, and creative use of the language ensure the audience will leave touched and entertained.

Janna Maria Fröhlich specializes in evocative contemporary, traditional and original music, with classical/world/folk/jazz/pop influences. Past performances include New England Folk Festival, Arts at the Armory Café and the Burren’s lunchtime series. Janna took up the harp after earning a degree in medieval/renaissance music. An expressive psychotherapist by day, her other professions are music teacher, composer/arranger, and Janna also performs with Joy Grimes, violin, in their duo HeartSoulVoice Ensemble.

Roberta Lamb rocks musical styles from blues, pop and Americana, to chestnuts from the Great American Songbook. She picked her first guitar as a child in Texas, before moving on to hone her vocal craft as a classical concert musician: singing and opera in Austria and the U.S. Now performing originals and covers, Roberta sings and plays her heart out from MA to RI.
