Embedded Workshop - Microcontrollers

Learn to use microcontrollers to control real projects. Come prepared to build. Everyone participates. Check each month's schedule for the night's project and necessary supplies.

The first project will be using an Arduino Microcontroller. May 1st, 7-9pm.

I have now added the TI LaunchPad to my list of things to explore! It is just like an Arduino Uno. It uses the same IDE just a different color.

The Arduino class is at the same time but not the same as this class. I can not speak for Ralph but he did state last month that you would be there with the launchpads for us to explore. I am looking forward to learning about the launchpads. Hope to see you Wednesday.

Ok cool. I will be there. If you want to get a head start, we will be using the energia tool. Feel free to download at. I will have launchpads for you to use and depending on the class size, you will be able to take home a launchpad.

Is this still happening or is it turned into the arduino class? I haven't heard anything from Ralph for a few weeks.

Hi, I'd like to present on Texas Instruments LaunchPad for this workshop. I'll have some to giveaway. I'll go over some of the microcontroller portfolio that TI offers on the LaunchPad and talk about the Energia software ( which brings the Wiring/Arduino style coding abstraction to TI hardware. After the quick overview of the LaunchPad ecosystem, we can do a mini-build night and try to make something cool.
