Web Application Developer

Job Description
Oklahoma Interactive develops and manages the state of Oklahoma's Web portal (www.OK.gov) and builds eGovernment solutions. Oklahoma Interactive is a subsidiary of NIC Inc. [NASDAQ: EGOV], located in Oklahoma City and is seeking a qualified Web Application Developer.


Responsibilities:
Design and develop complex mostly back end web applications
Maintain existing applications
Work with customers and other staff to help determine project specifications
Work with other developers in modularizing web application design

Job Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Certifications related to programming are preferred
2-3 years experience with PHP and Database programming
Experience in JavaScript, Source Control, Oracle a plus
Familiarity with JQuery, Smarty, HTML and CSS a plus
Some knowledge of Mobile Application Development (iPhone, Android, and Blackberry) a plus
Knowledge of other languages (Java, C#, Visual Basic) helpful, but not required
