New Meetup: Bruce Freeman Rail Trail Ride & Seek (geocaching on bikes!)

Announcing a new Meetup for Bridges Dance & Activities Meetup NH!

What: Bruce Freeman Rail Trail Ride & Seek (geocaching on bikes!)

When: Sunday, November 28,[masked]:00 AM

Where: Bruce Freeman Rail Trail (Phase 1)
980 Chelmsford Street SW Corner of parking lot
Lowell, MA 01851

Grab your bike and a GPS (optional) and join me for another Ride & Seek. I'm headed to Lowell/Chelmsford with my bike and doing a little geocaching (a high tech treasure hunt game) on the Bruce Freeman trail. Planning on rolling south from the trail end at the Crosspoint towers all the way to Heart Pond and back. Grand total of ~8.9 miles on the round trip. Open to all abilities and bikes since we are looking at a paved bike path all the way.
As we go, there are up to 14 hidden caches for us to ferret out. On the southbound run, I plan on stopping and finding each of them. Pausing at Heart Pond for a lunch break. The return trip should be pretty much a non-stop leisurely cruise. Temps will be on the chilly side, so dress appropriately!

Interested? Go to to learn more about the game and be sure to sign yourself up for a free account. Once we make some finds, you'll need that free account to take credit for finding them!

Those with handheld GPS units, email me to receive a GPX file you can copy onto your handheld to locate the caches we will be hunting for.

As always, if you have questions, concerns, or just want to talk kayaking or more, hit me anytime.
