I am the ultimate wallflower a I had fun. Class did what it was supposed to and that was taught us the steps to a waltz and GAVE us an opportunity to dance. I am grateful for the dance partners which I did have and will be back.

Dawn, I know how to dance. I went there for the comraderie of meeting others to dance with. I understand if a guy does not ask you, you can ask him. I am just saying that it should have been stated that the group is more of a dance studio crowd instead of a dance club crowd. Again, I go to dance and the guys there seemed to be more into showing off their steps than dancing for the fun of it. I did dance with one of the better dancers and he kept telling me how to dance. I have been dancing for pleasure and competitively for over 30 years, don't need someone telling me that because I dance a different style, I am wrong.

YeahI had that experience too. The waitress was talking to me and one of the guys came over to talk to her. She told him( in front of me) that he should ask me to dance. He laughed it off and said not then but he would later...yeah right...he went right up to the young thing sitting 3 seats over and asked her to dance...I was soooo embarrassed.

Oh, they had to pull someone from the crowd to dance with me, that was unforgiving

I did not get asked to dance either. My first time, my last

Let's just say I won't be going very much. Did not get asked to dance until 9:30...so I asked 4 different guys to dance...all turned me down. When I finally did get to dance, there were only a couple of guys that I really enjoyed dancing with. You need to state that this club caters to the dance lesson crowd, not the Texas swing or honky Tonkin crowds
