Introduce yourself

I previously ran middle track (specializing in the 800m) in high school and on the varsity team at Harvard College. I suffered many injuries in college, and never felt that I hit my full potential. I was a little burnt out from running after college, so I took a six year long break from any sort of training. I started up again with running last June. Up until then, I had never raced anything longer than a 5K.

What's your 5k, half marathon, or marathon race pace so we can plan pace groups at our runs?

Personal Bests: 5K: 17:18 (Washington Heights 5K, March 2019) Half: 1:16:19 (NYC Half, March 2019) Marathon: 2:56:24 (Philadelphia Marathon, November 2018) I have been improving rapidly, and I aim to improve significantly on these times in the next year.

On your training runs, how many miles do you run?

Usually 40-50 miles a week (more often on the low side of that range). Usually no shorter than 6 miles for an easy run. Most days 8-10.

Where do you do most of your training?

Mostly in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
