**Abstract:**
In today's competitive mobile e-commerce landscape, generic user experiences are no longer sufficient. Users increasingly expect platforms to anticipate their needs and deliver hyper-relevant content. This talk moves beyond traditional recommendation engines to explore how we can leverage advanced machine learning models for true dynamic content personalization. We will focus on strategies for providing the right content—whether it's product recommendations, support articles, or tailored guidance—to the user at the precise moment of need. Using a large-scale mobile e-commerce platform as a case study, we will examine how to build a deeper, real-time understanding of user intent from past behavioral activities. We will demonstrate how this holistic approach to personalization not only boosts key metrics but also builds significant user trust and lasting engagement.

**Bio:**
Ramkumar Ganesan is a Senior Data Scientist at [mobile.de](https://mobile.de/) (eBay Classifieds Group), Germany's largest automotive marketplace, serving over 14 million monthly users. He leads AI and ML initiatives with a focus on enhancing the user experience, including architecting AI-powered conversational assistants and building end-to-end customer journey mapping systems with real-time intent prediction. His work has directly resulted in significant increases in user engagement and personalization accuracy. With over 9 years of experience, Ramkumar is an AI Architect and Machine Learning Leader who has delivered production-grade ML systems across the e-commerce, biotech, fintech, and automotive domains. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from TU Kaiserslautern.
