Don't let the meetup name fool you. Although we enjoy dead poets, the DC Dead Poet's society likes live poets even more. So if you are a poet, dead or alive, we'd love to gather together and hear your latest works. If you are not a poet, but a lover of poetry, please bring one of your favorite poems to read out loud to your fellow poets for inspiration.
